Summary
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates leadership for a safe working environment. Supports the company’s 8-Step Safety Process.
  • Set the culture for the changing department – operating discipline, execution, and Lean management.
  • Lead, Motivate, and Direct area employees to achieve safety, housekeeping, customer service, productivity, quality & cost goals
  • Manage daily shipping and receiving performance alongside the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Trained and proficient in material putaway or receiving, picking customer orders, moving trailers, and loading outbound shipments
  • Responsible for initiating/maintaining/monitoring cycle count and cost control initiatives.
  • Investigate, report and prevent MIPS.
  • Investigate and report customer complaints and shipping claims
Desired Experience
  • Forklift operation experience required
  • SAP and SAP WMS experience desired
  • BPCS experience desired
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Business computer system skills in programs such as Microsoft Office, Infinity, Cognos, Oracle, BPCS, ADC or Warehouse management systems
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
