Major Responsibilities

Support standard playbook operational initiatives. Work as an internal consultant to identify, conduct, and analyze business/production diagnostics in order to establish current state, set fact-based goals, and identify potential value at stake for transformation initiatives. Develop implementation planning. Coach, mentor, and guide local team progress. Mobilize resources for the successful implementation of the transformation effort. Work directly with manufacturing facility transformation site Leads to complete progress and quarterly review material as well as guide all group calls and meetings. Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to drive performance and fact-based decision making. Assist in training on lean tools, analysis, root cause problem solving, and structuring of implementation planning requirements for all operational areas. Coach, mentor, and guide local facility leadership to drive daily performance of transformation effort. Drive accountability and foster local ownership of operational initiatives to ensure sustainability. Serve as a change agent to foster a high-performance management culture at local facilities. Identify and schedule transformation deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Plan, manage, analyze, and deliver data for progress reviews. Provide guidance on sustaining capabilities for deck-building and storylines for reviews. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field and 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience in: 1.) 3 years of experience in identifying, conducting, and analyzing business/production diagnostics; 2.) 3 years of experience in implementation of the transformation effort; 3.) 3 years of experience in performing lean tools, analysis, root cause problem solving, and structuring of implementation planning requirements for all operational areas; 4.) 3 years of identifying and scheduling transformation deliverables, milestones, and required tasks; and 5.) 3 years in performing change management.  Green Belt Certification required. This position also requires 25-50% travel to manufacturing facilities in North America.
