Summary

As a Corporate Project Manager – Business Transformation supporting our Engineered Cabs Business, you will be responsible for successfully structuring and executing key organizational projects.  This newly created role will support all integration activities for this business and will work between senior level sponsors and plant level employees and should have the ability to influence at both levels.  The right-fit candidate will be comfortable in self-directed environments and will have a proven record of developing and leveraging strong working relationships to generate positive outcomes. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manages LEAN/Transformation/Business Integration related projects with a focus on: Project planning processes, Communication Planning, Risk Assessment, Project execution processes, Product Development Lifecycles
  • Assists project team with identifying risks, communicating with Management, developing project plans, managing of scope and issues, and analyzing project metrics and statistics.
  • Works with internal/external contacts:  May work with outside consultants during the life cycle of a project, may work with third party Vendors in the acquisition or development of software products, Interacts with Business Unit Management on a regular basis
  • Reports findings to Senior Management (notifies Senior Management of project risks and issues)
  • Advise Project Analyst staff

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with 1-3 years in cross-functional business systems experience related to ERP integration, operational purchasing, planning, and/or quality.
  • Lean/M&A/Business Integration experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience providing coaching and feedback to team members both direct and indirect.
  • History of success in a collaborative work environment
  • Travel to various plants approx... 40-50%.
