The company is seeking a Sales and Marketing Director to lead the retail side of their Pressure Cylinders division. The role will continue to drive the strategy and success for all commercial activities related to consumer products sold at retail.  The role will be supporting Sales with oversight on marketing and product development for ther retail brands. This role will have both sales and marketing teams reporting into the position as well as direct involvement with New Product Development.  The focus will be on the Bernzomatic, BalloonTime and Coleman brands. Excellent team, company culture and long term growth



- Ensures development and retention of key retail accounts.

- Manage market share by retail product line.

- Ensure effective communication and implementation of product promotional activity.

- Communicates critical market information to upper management.

- Provides accurate forecast information by retail product line.

- Utilizes transformation, innovation and analytics to maximize profitability

- Ensures Worthington Philosophy is adhered to in all business dealings.

- Mentors members of the retail team to ensure effective succession plan execution.

- Helps identify and integrate M&A targets

Key Position Results:
- Timely issue resolution.
- Accurate sales forecasting – by product
- Market share growth by generation of new business
- Margin management – increased profitability

Desired Experience

Critical Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

- Minimum of 8 years in sales and marketing with competent operations knowledge

- Strong negotiation skills 

- Strong organizational & analytical skills

- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)

- Team / relationship building and employee development skills

- Proficient in basic Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)


Education / Training Required

- Bachelor's Degree required.

- Must possess extensive product and process knowledge.

- 10 years minimum experience within leadership sales roles.  Consumer Products experience essential for the role.
