Inside Sales Manager

Summary

The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is responsible for the day-to-day order management systems and management of the Inside Sales Representatives (ISR). The ISM works closely with the ISR’s, Sales Managers, Product Directors, Outside Sales Reps, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure that customer orders, returns, pricing or logistics needs are met. The ISM manages and oversees those needs across the entire CPG customer base. The ISM approves exception-based pricing where appropriate. The ISM helps coach and develop ISR’s who are the bench as potential future leaders within the organization.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate, train and develop ISR’s
  • Maintain priorities with other internal departments
  • Manage and review information (project documents, account information, price matrix)
  • Actively working on continuous improvement projects for the Inside Sales Team
  • Follow up on customer quality comments and complaints
  • Responsible for overseeing pricing and order entry
  • Maintain, enhance, and build customer relationships
  • Develop and maintain Inside Sales goals
  • Outside travel for customer visits
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Training Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Sales
  • Leadership Experience
  • Participation in various WI training courses
