Responsibilities

These positions are responsible for safely manufacturing quality parts on a fast-paced assembly line. Duties include a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: 

Responsible for machine operation in all areas of the facility including the pressroom, weld line and paint line. Duties include set-up, minor adjustments to machines, troubleshooting equipment as issues arise and inspecting finished parts for gauge thickness, defects, and proper fit up. 

The goal of the Machine Operator is to achieve excellence in all facets of the role, providing the highest quality service safely, while effectively and efficiently increasing profits.    
 

Desired Experience

Successful candidates are eager to learn and grow, show up to work on time, and put in a hard days’ work. Our formal requirements are below:  
•    2 - 5+ years of manufacturing experience
•    Possess good problem-solving skills and knowledge of safety practices
•    Ability to set-up and troubleshoot equipment to determine problems that may arise
•    Strong Mechanical Aptitude 
•    Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to stand on your feet for several hours 
•    Competent in basic math and computer skills 
•    Detail oriented with the ability to recognize quality issues– detect defects 
•    Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions on productions 
•    Must follow all safety policies and procedures and have good safety awareness and efficiency skills 
•    Must understand and follow the quality policy and procedures 
•    Forklift and crane license a plus 
•    Must have the flexibility to work off shifts
 

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
