Worthington Cylinders Columbus is seeking a qualified maintenance technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills.  The candidate must have a 2-year Associates Degree or equivalent experience.

 

General Responsibilities:

-Capable of working day or night schedule.

-Must be able to work in a team-based environment.

-Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

-Must be able to work independently; will be responsible for specific or cross-functional tasks, based on equipment.

-All applicants must pass a drug screen.

-Will be assigned to and required to maintain a PM area.

-Must be willing to participate in continuous improvement projects throughout the facility.

-Participate actively in department/plan safety programs.

-Promote safety rules and regulations.

 

Skills:

-Capable of reading and writing relay/ladder logic.

-Have advanced knowledge of AC/DC motor drives, PLC/electrical & SLC controllers and motor control circuits.

-Advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing and code books.

-Capable of reading and writing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints.

-Possess good problem solving skills, computer skills, and safety practices.
