Summary

The Human Resources Rep provides overall human resource and benefit administrative support to assigned location. Responsible for benefit administration, payroll, workers compensation, staffing, recruitment and general administration of human resource policies and practices. This role performs timely and accurate payroll processing, administration of benefit program and entry and maintenance of HRIS system. It is the Representative’s role to communicate and problem solve any employee issues in a satisfactory manner. The ideal candidate is a detail oriented, problem solver with a strong customer service focused attitude. Success will come with the ability to prioritize tasks and issues and work independently to accomplish the goals of the functional area and the company.

Responsibilities

  • Provides benefit administration including; answering questions, completing and filing necessary forms, employee training, new hire benefit orientation and exit process, open enrollment etc.
  • Performs payroll administration including; time, tax and wage entry, processing of payroll information, garnishments, etc.
  • Involved in the recruitment and selection process such as screening, interviewing, related documentation, etc.
  • Provides worker’s compensation administration such as completing and filing of necessary forms, etc.
  • Coordinates miscellaneous programs including health fairs, banquets, picnics, attendance and recognition awards, etc.
  • Performs compensation administration including processing HR/Payroll related changes, profit sharing review and submission, etc.
  • Responsible for human resource administration such as performance management, discipline, and employee training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • HR certification preferred (i.e., PHR, SPHR)

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
