Industrial Maintenance Technician

The role of the experienced maintenance technician is to perform preventative, planned, and mechanical and/or electrical maintenance duties. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of machine troubleshooting and repair. Intermediate level of electrical knowledge is desired

  • Perform advanced preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned
  • Successfully troubleshoots many mechanical and electrical problems
  • Makes advanced repairs and adjustments to mechanical and electrical devices
  • Completes welding and fabrication tasks with little direction
  • Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
Desired Experience
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, plumbing and code books
  • Advanced knowledge of relay logic, AC/DC motor drives, PLC and SLC and motor control circuits, modifies PLC and HMI programming
  • Advanced mechanical, welding and cutting skills
  • Able to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints
  • Good problem solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality
  • Have basic workbench and computer skills
  • 3-5 years maintenance experience
  • Additional maintenance coursework/training desired
