The Operator role is responsible for operating basic presses in the Baltimore facility. The Operator role is responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of the machine. This position is also responsible for timely processing of customer orders and flow of material, contributing to process efficiency. The Operator must also provide timely, safe and efficient operation of machines. Will be responsible for correctly tagging the finished material and moving it to the next designation and stages as required. 


  • Maintain minimum line standards for production.
  • Tend to automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
  • Follow production/process specifications or instruction of technical personnel.
  • Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
  • Perform simple tests to verify production/process conditions.
  • Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
  • Complete all related paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Be able to configure the correct data set on the panel view.
  • Understand and implement proper changeover procedures.
  • Ability to perform skid setup and positioning, loader/unloader and stacking properly.
  • Ability to check and fill oils, grease and nitrogen correctly and safely.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Able to troubleshoot equipment to determine problems that may arise.
