Integrated Solutions Sales Manager

Summary

The Integrated Solutions Sales Manager’s (ISSM) primary role is to take leadership of regional teams to find, develop and close opportunities to sell WAVE’s entire solutions portfolio. The ISSM will act as the conduit during the sales process between specification reps, installation specialist, Design Service Center, distributor team, and Contractor Community (General Contractor and Sub-Contractor) to develop opportunities within the market.  Promote our total ceiling solution, creating project-specific value propositions geared toward project influencers (contractors, estimators, project managers).
 
The ISSM will leverage the resources available to change the commercial focused playbook to include WAVE integrated solutions.  The ISSM will be responsible for articulating the benefits gained using our complete integrated solutions for the area sales representatives, customers, and contractors. 
 
**This will be a remote role with 20-25% travel. Consistently profitable company, excellent leadership and company culture. The ideal location will be either Southern California or Houston, TX. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Drive and grow profitable sales of WAVE Integrated Solutions by focusing on major contractors and projects within region.
  • Responsible for growing sales of newly developed WAVE products, including creating selling aids and understanding technical information relating to the product line in order to grow sales
  • Work closely with Area Manager and Sales Team to target projects across the region, and participate in monthly job follow-up meetings to assess potential future sales opportunities
  • Conduct competitive market intelligence; analyze and adjust positioning to grow market leadership
  • Analyze territory performance (sales, volume, pricing) to formulate regional procedures and provide counsel to area sales teams and distributor customers to enhance WAVE integrated sales
  • Seek alternative partnerships and relationships that will help drive sales efforts involving a total integrated solution strategy

 

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but relevant work experience considered
  • Customer focus and facing experience; Proven experience building professional relationships. Ability to quickly pick up product knowledge. 
  • Sales and or Project Management experience preferred
  • Experience in Construction is preferred (installer / foreman / superintendent / estimator / project manager / project engineer / Manufacturer representative / other).
  • Understanding of the construction process and can read and understand related construction documentation.
  • Broad understanding and ability to identify on-site construction activities that lead to more efficient installation methods.
  • Excellent communication skills: oral, written, persuasive
  • Computer skills a must:  Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF editor, Plan Grid, etc.
  • Ability to read construction drawings
  • Problem solving/Analytical thinking
  • Understanding of construction processes and key players
  • Capability to work well individually and in a team setting
  • Energetic/Self-Motivation/Passion for success

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
