As a Corporate Quality Engineer, this newly created role will coordinate all quality engineering activities with 10 of our plants.  Key position results include but are not limited to, increase quality at and/or reduced cost for supply base, internally and customer base; compliance with all regulatory and internal policies; reduction in scrap, reject and rework; and implementation of new software. The ideal candidate utilizes strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills to identify, develop and follow through on a course of action relative to production-quality flow processes. 


Assist manufacturing plants with corporate quality initiatives.

These include IQS software and Quality Works implementation and training.

Use independent judgment to respond, as needed, to customer quality issues by visiting customer locations.  Assist in resolving supplier concerns.

Assist plants with internal quality system audits to verify compliance with IATF 16949 automotive quality system standard.  Audit corporate activities that have QA related functions.  Follow-up internal audits with documentation for corrective actions as necessary.

Audits material at customer plants and at TWB to verify conformance to requirements.

Desired Experience

  • High School diploma required
  • Bachelor of Science in related discipline or equivalent experience preferred
  • ASQ CQE and/or CQA Certification desired
  • Minimum three years customer/vendor communication experience
  • Minimum five years supervisory experience
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
  • IATF16949 experience preferred
  • Must have good math skills and be detail oriented
  • Must have above average computer skills
  • Must be physically able to freely access all areas of customer's and TWB's plant and grounds
  • Must be willing to travel as needed via most efficient means
  • Must have valid drivers license
