TWB in Monroe, MI, is seeking a Maintenance Technician with a proven ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. This position is responsible for preventative and overall facility maintenance and must possess, or be able to quickly obtain, basic knowledge of machine repair. A successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met by continuous development and education.



  • Ability to work rotation or set schedule as needed
  • Complete a thorough development plan and job shadowing on an established schedule
  • Ability to complete online and campus courses as needed
  • Complete Maintenance Assessment Testing
  • Complete mechanical repairs and make adjustments as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned
  • Successfully troubleshoot mechanical problems
  • Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction
  • Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Perform other duties as required

  • Basic workbench and computer skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • PLC experience a plus


  • Willing to learn and follow basic safety training including lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, and confined space trainings
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing
  • Basic mechanical, welding, and cutting skills
  • Capability of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Meter usage and ability to take basic measurements
  • Complete knowledge of standard operating procedures
  • Complete company provided CPR and first aid training


High School Diploma or equivalent
