As a Tool and Die Technician at our plant in Monroe, OH, this role completes preventative maintenance and repair work on the press dies. This includes component replacement and repair. This position must have strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to participate in discussions aimed at identifying the root cause of problems and the countermeasures necessary to reduce the risks associated with repeat failures. This position requires the ability to complete work with little or no direction in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility.

  • Wage range for this role is $52,000 to $65,000 annual total compensation, which consists of 26 annual pay checks and four quarterly bonuses.

  • Our Tool and Die Technicians follow our press production schedule. When running at full capacity, we run M-F 24 hrs/day. This position has historically rotated between all 3 shifts. We are open to discussing permanent 2nd or 3rd shift placement.
  • Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Initiates and installs improvement projects.
  • Performs basic failure root cause investigation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to work independently; will be responsible for specific or cross-functional tasks, based on equipment
  • Perform all duties in the spirit of Our Philosophy and in accordance to legal, ethical and contractual practices

Desired Experience

  • Advanced Tool & Die experience
  • Lathe, mill and Blanchard grinder experience is a plus
  • Experience and willingness to preform maintenance tasks during outages is a plus
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints, work order instructions; weld symbols, and operate required tools involved in position
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills


High School Diploma or equivalent
