Worthington Industries in Paducah, KY is looking to bring a Maintenance Tech onto our team. .  **Seeking PLC experience. **Excellent company culture, benefits and pay.  Offering a $3,000.00 sign- on bonus.  This role will be on 2nd shift with the hours of 3pm-11[pm. 

Seeking a Maintenance Technician who has the ability to troubleshoot  mechanical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. This position is responsible for primarily preventative and mechanical maintenance and must possess basic knowledge of machine repair. A successful candidate is self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.


  • Completes mechanical & electrical repairs and makes adjustments   
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery
  • Successfully troubleshoots many mechanical and electrical problems
  • Completes welding and fabrication tasks
  • Accountable for entering data into the maintenance system timely and accurately
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Desired Experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and plumbing
  • Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills
  • Should be capable of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
  • Good problem solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality.
  • Have basic workbench and computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of relay logic, AC/DC motor drives, PLC, and motor control circuits
  • Basic electrical code book knowledge

Once you join the team, you will receive the following training: 

  • CPR and First Aid Training
  • Lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, electrical 2, confined spaced training
  • Complete knowledge of Standard Operating Procedure Manual



High School Diploma or equivalent in General Studies
