This position is responsible for demonstrating leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to lead projects and communicate effectively, both verbally and through written reports. Ability to work with multiples levels of personnel and with multiple departments within the organization is critical. The ideal candidate utilizes problem solving, strong analytical and communication skills to identify, develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives. 

Key position results include: effective & timely project implementation, reduction in COQ and PPM, improved process performance through use of technology, a highly integrated and functional corporate quality system, timely issue resolution (plant support), and data integrity. 


  • Quality Ambassador: provide leadership and guidance to facility management team and employees to drive continual improvement, cost reduction, LEAN, WI and Quality Philosophies
  • Root Cause Analysis/Implementation: mentor and train others within organization to develop a Problem-Solving culture
  • External & Internal Interactions and Improvements:  interact with customers and suppliers to drive reduction of PPM; improve products and reduce costs; increase customer PPAP; perform supplier audits
  • Quality Systems: develop, implement, maintain and improve the ISO Quality System and any customer-specific processes or systems
  • Reviews processes and material, utilizing production and process knowledge according to specifications
  • Evaluate and manage customer and supplier claims
  • Provide Department support for all IQS user activities
  • Develop and maintain revision control for work instructions relating to QMS processes
  • Provide Back up and Support for the tech services Lab when necessary 
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and/or Software Engineer (CSE) preferred
  • Experience with Oracle EBS, IQS (or other integrated quality application)
  • Fundamental understanding of quality systems, methods, tools and standards
  • Ability to apply project management principles
  • Knowledge in Quality Systems - ISO, etc.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed via most efficient means
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outloo
  • Proficency with Tableau is highly desirable
