The ideal candidate must have an advanced understanding of both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility.  The successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.

  • Complete advanced mechanical / electrical repairs and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned.
  • Successfully troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
  • Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Ensure that equipment and facility maintenance issues are addressed in a proactive and timely manner
  • Modify advanced PLC & HMI Programming
  • Other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing
  • Ability to read, navigate and understand drawings for electrical installations
  • Ability to follow and interpret schematic drawings
  • Have expert knowledge of reliability maintenance technologies, proactive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Knowledge of AC/DC Drives, programming and diagnostics
  • PLC experience needed, such as Allen Bradley
  • Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills
  • Should be capable of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints
  • Good problem solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality
  • Have basic workbench and computer skills.
  • Meter usage and ability to complete basic measurements
  • Basic math skills
  • 1 year of plant experience
  • May require CPR and first aid training
  • Lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined spaced training
  • WI basic safety training
  • Complete knowledge of standard operating procedures
High School Diploma or equivalent
