Summary

The Project Manager will support a growing Cryogenics business for a 3.4 billion organization. The facility is in a wonderful location with a highly collaborative team. The Project Manager will schedule, develop, define, and implement cohesive and integrated programs. Additionally, this role will be responsible for product schedules, subcontractor materials and material plans to meet customer delivery requirements. This role will be involved in setting and facilitating successful budgeted schedule baselines as well.This role will assist with providing the proper material to the operations units in accordance with inventory levels, customer requirements and will schedule the material and work orders to optimize machine capabilities to achieve the highest productivity, finest quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

 

  • Reviews and categorizes work orders for most effective and efficient production schedules
  • Prepares and enters schedules
  • Interacts with and coordinates capacity time needs of customers, vendors, sales, quality, technical services, maintenance, production coordinators, shipping and receiving
  • Prepares budgets and estimates for new work; maintains database of won/lost and then completed projects
  • Monitors progress in hourly production schedules compared to the schedules and makes appropriate adjustments

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-3 plus years of similar project management, buying or expediting experience
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects
  • Advanced knowledge of the entire process flow from raw material through production to customer delivery
  • Exposure to supply chain/ inventory control processes
  • Ability to act quickly and professionally to frequent unplanned changes
  • Strong communication and problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Excel)
  • Strong Analytical and math skills
