Summary

This master trouble shooting position in our MDM (Master Data Management) department must have an excellent history of exemplary internal customer service, primarily interfacing with engineers, sales, product development groups, costing groups, and production supervisors. This position is an integral component of the MDM team which demands someone with an upbeat attitude and knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP suites, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and update bills and routers to incorporate information requested by production. Internal customer support on production issues and questions that impact their work
  • Determine if additional data is needed and coordinate with other departments to obtain it.
  • Loading data into Oracle provided by Cost Estimating, Engineering, Sales, or Quality departments from various forms, documentation, purchase orders, prints, and specs
  • Creates new items.
  • Process Engineering Change Notice’s
  • Perform item accuracy audit at predefined intervals
  • Updates item to incorporate information requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional written, oral, and inter-personal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills: experience with continuous improvement or Lean  or other similar experience preferred
  • Moderate relevant computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Excellent record keeping skills to include being neat, clean, and organized
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines
  • 2 years’ work experience in similar work environment and expectations
  • Recent Oracle experience within the Inventory module highly preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
