The Controls Technician is responsible for the installation and testing of the instrumentation and electrical components of Worthington Industries' products. This position requires a positive attitude with solid, basic electrical technical knowledge and understanding. Responsbilities include meeting daily production goals in a team environment with a consistent quality output.


Performs installation and testing of the instrumentation and electrical components of our products

Interpret engineering designs and drawings to develop and complete installations

Create reports related to project labor and materials used

Ability to occassionally provide field support for products at customer locations

Desired Experience

Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings and electrical schematics

Use of basic electrical test equipment

Ability to conduct and document inspections and testing activities

Knowledge of electrical installation technical requirements in hazardous locations

Professional appearance and attitude


Associates or equivalent in Electronics
