Summary

The primary role of the Hydrostatic operator is testing product for specific quality pressure requirements. The role performs regulatory and internal customer specific testing product using hyrdostatic methods. The operator must be able to read and analyze results and complete all necessary paperwork that accompanies the testing process. A successful candidate is a self-motivated, problem solver who has a strong work ethic to ensure all specifications and quality are met. This is an opening for third shift operations.

Responsibilities

  • Performs internal testing, internal checks, and cosmetic inspections.
  • Performs Hyrdostatic testing of product
  • Completes all paperwork on all results of hydrostatic testing
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

  • Knowledge of physical steel properties
  • Basic knowledge of quality control and cylinder processes
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Computer skills
  • Must be able to comprehend and retain internal and regulatory requirements
  • Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to stand on your feet for 8 hrs a day
  • Must be able to distinguish between part numbers and sizes
  • Must understand and follow the quality policy and procedures
  • 6-12 months of previous material handling experience or equivalent knowledge
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic
  • Required OSHA safety training and HazMat training
